Osmonds Liquid Calmer is designed for horses of all ages, breeds and disciplines and can be used to help reduce stress at times of excitement and anticipation. Liquid Calmer is a natural nutritional supplement and will not compromise performance.

The product is formulated containing magnesium, as a deficiency of this mineral has been linked to increased nervousness in horses.  The vitamins B_1, - for correct release of carbohydrates, helping to maintain blood sugar levels, B₂ also for carbohydrate metabolism and B₃ have been included to help maintain the integrity of the nervous system. The addition of Vitamin E also helps maintain a healthy nervous system Tryptophan has also been added as it is naturally occurring in the horses’ body and acts as a calming agent. Tryptophan is the least abundant of the essential amino acids, however, it is one of the most crucial as it is involved in the formation of serotonin, which is crucial for the regulation of mood and appetite. To complete the formulation, key plant extracts have been included.

Directions for Use

Horses: 60ml per day

It is best to allow around 3 days for Liquid Calmer to take effect before a stressful period is expected

It may be beneficial to feed 90ml during the 1^st 5 days;

The level of Liquid Calmer fed may also be reduced gradually over time depending upon the level of stress and the behaviour of the individual horse.
